Bring your questions and your areas of weakness and we will work our way through them. I have lots of directions I can take the class. Lets see where you want to go. A few simple tunes will be used to apply these techniques.

Friday - Session II - CONTINUING AUTOHARP – Learn more strumming and chording techniques to add variations in your playing. Learn to play a variety of rhythms and how time signatures in tunes can lead to strumming variations. Learn how to play a tune in several keys and how to listen for chord changes. Expand your ability to apply these techniques to your playing as we learn several tunes to add to your repertoire.

Saturday - Session I – PICKING THE MELODY – Beginning Steps – Learn how to play a scale in each key on your autoharp and why playing scales is so important in learning to pick out the melody notes. We will take a tune with only back-up chords on it and determine where and how to add the chords needed to play the melody of that tune.
